Erskine at Stockholm University

On a Sunny Sunday afternoon, we decided to take a trip to the Stockholm University Campus (Axel's alma mater) to check out the Erskine Buildings. Surprisingly elegant are his buildings set against cheezy buildings from the 70s & 80s and extreme traditional buildings from earlier period.

A quick snaphot of the campus map. Interesting organic form that follows the contour of island that its located in.

STOCKHOLMS UNIVERSITETSBIBLIOTEK

Like all buildings on this
campus, this was closed.
Summer classes are not a
huge concept here...

but managed to snuck into the main entrance for some quick photos:

ALLHUSET: The main student center. Also closed.

Side entrance & seating. LOVE the shading method.

Details, details....

misleading signs

Signage is always a bit interesting when one walks around unfamiliar surroundings , so imagine our reactions when two Desi friends are strolling through Stockholm finding very expected funny signs ....

Realizing the meaning of exit that sounds ridiculously childishly funny...PRICELESS.

Finding out that there's a different sort of "exit" where fart apparantly comes in...right into Stockholm! Welcome to my home...please "infart" you way in!

We're walking down the street wondering why there's one designated place for alchohol & porn...even more intriguing is the 50% off sign. Then it all made sense...its Rum & Bad Kok (the bad is right under the "&").
